| Tahith Chong is on his way out of Old Trafford |
This one
might not please Manchester United
fans. Tahith Chong, one of the
brightest young talents at Old Trafford
right now, is edging closer to an exit from the club. The Dutchman has entered
the final 6 months of his contract and talks of an extension have not been fruitful
so far.
Now, according to acclaimed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player’s agent has met up with representatives of Inter Milan in Milan and a move could
well be on the cards.

Chong joined Manchester
United from Feyenoord in 2016,
having caught the eye of United scouts with his displays for the Eredivisie club. At Old Trafford, the
Dutchman continued his development as a part of the Manchester United youth team and was earmarked for a bright future.
The 20-year-old has been in and out of the first-team squad since the
appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
and has 11 senior appearances to his name so far, but is yet to score a goal
for the first team. However, it now appears that United are poised to lose
one of their prized assets to Inter
Milan in the coming days.
Inter Milan is one of many clubs interested in Chong
According
to Fabrizio Romano, the player has
been offered to the Serie A side by United. However, Chong is being monitored by quite a few other clubs at the moment
and will have options to choose from should he decide to quit the Red Devils.
The news will be a big blow for Solskjaer,
who has attempted to rebuild Manchester
United with the right injection of youth in his team.

| Chong has 11 appearances for the senior team under Solskjaer |
The
Norwegian has to be credited for the emergence of Mason Greenwood, who has already scored 9 times this season. Chong was another academy graduate who
was expected to make a successful transition into the first team.
This season,
he has come up against the likes of Marcus
Rashford, Daniel James and Greenwood in the competition for the
first team place. However, Chong has
fallen behind them in the pecking order and seems to have decided that his
future lies elsewhere now.
